Violin Exam Pieces from 2024, Grade 6 is the official ABRSM repertoire collection for the Grade 6 Violin syllabus introduced from 2024. It contains nine selected pieces, with three from each of Lists A, B and C. The repertoire offers a broad range of styles, from Baroque and Classical works to Romantic, traditional and modern pieces, providing suitable material for both Practical and Performance Grade preparation.
The audio edition includes the violin part, piano accompaniment, recordings of all nine pieces and piano accompaniment tracks, accessed through the download code included in the book.

This is primarily a repertoire and exam-pieces book, rather than a dedicated technical exercise collection. The Grade 6 pieces nevertheless provide opportunities to develop advanced bow control, articulation, position awareness, finger agility, rhythmic precision, phrasing and expressive interpretation.
For Practical Grade preparation, students should use this book alongside the separate ABRSM Grade 6 technical requirements for scales, arpeggios and other examination components.
