Rockschool Guitar Grade 6 (2024) is an advanced-level graded guitar resource for players who have developed solid technique and are ready to work on more sophisticated musical expression, stylistic control, improvisation and session-playing skills.
The book features nine performance pieces covering funk, pop, rock, blues and contemporary guitar styles. At this level, students work with advanced concepts such as natural and pinched harmonics, two-handed tapping, minor pentatonic positions, modes, extended arpeggio and chord vocabulary, stylistic playing and session work.
