Rockschool Bass Grade 5 (2024) is an intermediate-level graded bass guitar book for players who have developed solid foundational and stylistic skills and are ready to work with more sophisticated bass techniques, rhythmic complexity and solo performance.
The book combines six contemporary Hit Tunes with three Rockschool Originals, while introducing techniques such as slap-and-pop, hammer-ons, complex syncopation and more developed solo work. Students also expand their scale and arpeggio vocabulary, including harmonic minor and major/minor 7th arpeggios.
