As a premium offering from NUX’s acclaimed DP-2000 series, the DP-2000IN Indian-customized electronic drum pad redefines the portable percussion experience with its professional-grade configuration and immersive Indian ethnic sounds.
Every response precisely captures playing dynamics, from soft touches to powerful strikes. Each hit conveys nuanced emotional expression, making it effortlessly adaptable for both stage performances and studio creations.
The DP-2000IN centers on its sound, crafting an auditory feast that is both professional and ethnically rich. Inheriting the ultra-HD acoustic drum sampling technology from NUX’s flagship DM-8 electronic drum, each sound kit is meticulously crafted to restore the natural resonance and dynamic layers of acoustic drums. Whether it’s the power of rock, the subtlety of jazz, or the warmth of folk, every nuance is precisely rendered. Building on this, compared to the original DP-2000, it adds 30 exclusive Indian percussion kits, deeply exploring the cultural heritage of Indian drumming, replicating its diverse rhythms and rich tones to suit various Indian musical styles.
Breaking the visual barriers of traditional drum pads, the DP-2000IN features a new progressive interactive LED lighting interface. Its operation logic is simple and intuitive, allowing even beginners to quickly get started and smoothly switch between various functions and sounds. All 8 pads are equipped with high-sensitivity velocity-sensitive LED lights, where light brightness changes in real-time with the intensity of the strike and the duration of the note. Soft touches create subtle glows, while powerful hits burst with bright light. In any setting, be it a dimly lit stage or a quiet studio, it provides clear and dynamic visual feedback, enhancing the atmosphere of the performance and achieving a dual immersive experience of sound and vision, adding more spectacle to stage acts.
The DP-2000IN breaks free from single-scenario performance limitations, offering extreme compatibility and expandability to seamlessly integrate into various percussion setups and unlock diverse playing styles. On stage, it can serve as an expansion unit for acoustic drums, adding rich tones and rhythmic layers to give drum performances more depth. Through its standard 5-pin MIDI In/Out interface, it can connect to existing electronic drums as a sub-master drum machine, greatly expanding performance dimensions and meeting the demands of complex compositions, making every show more creative.
Built-in with 6 professional panel effects, covering modulation, reverb, delay, and other practical effects, these can be freely assigned to any pad or set as bus effects via the panel FX function, applying to all sounds with a single click. Without the need for complex external equipment, you can quickly optimize tone quality and enrich sound layers. Whether you aim to highlight the rich essence of Indian drumming or create trendy electronic sounds, it’s easily achievable, elevating every sound kit to a professional standard.
Equipped with standard 5-pin MIDI In/Out interfaces, it offers bidirectional compatibility with various audio devices. It can act as a master device to play high-quality drum sounds, delivering a delicate and full auditory experience, or connect to existing electronic drums as an expansion pad to extend performance functions. This meets the demands of diverse scenarios such as stage performances and studio recording, achieving seamless device integration and eliminating interface compatibility concerns.
Featuring a versatile USB connection system, it balances convenience with practicality. It supports loading custom drum sounds and percussion samples via USB drive, effortlessly expanding your personal sound library without complex operations. Easily import exclusive creative materials and unique samples for more personalized performances. It also supports direct playback of WAV audio from a USB drive, allowing practice and performance with backing tracks, enhancing creation and practice efficiency. Furthermore, through the USB-C interface, it can connect to the standard NBT-1 Bluetooth module, enabling Bluetooth audio and Bluetooth MIDI functions for wireless connection to mobile phones, computers, and other devices, freeing you from cable constraints for more liberated performances.
