🎵 Overview

The KNA UP-2 Universal Piezo Pickup is a compact, portable surface-mounted passive piezo pickup designed to amplify a wide variety of acoustic instruments. Its universal design allows it to capture vibrations directly from an instrument’s soundboard or resonating surface, making it suitable for acoustic guitar, harp, drums, percussion and other vibrating acoustic instruments.

With its onboard volume control, musicians can conveniently adjust their output level directly from the pickup without needing to reach for the amplifier or mixer. The passive design also means no battery is required.

🎸 Universal Surface-Mounted Design

The UP-2 attaches directly to a suitable vibrating surface, allowing it to be used across different types of acoustic instruments rather than being limited to one specific instrument design.

🔊 Built-In Volume Control

A volume knob is integrated into the pickup housing, giving players direct control over their output signal during performances or studio sessions.

🌿 Natural Acoustic Sound

The passive piezo design captures vibrations from the instrument and reproduces its natural acoustic character without requiring an internal battery-powered preamp.

🪵 Laminated Birch & Mahogany Housing

The piezo element is housed in laminated birch with a mahogany top, combining a lightweight construction with a distinctive natural-wood appearance.

🛠️ Flexible Installation

The pickup can be positioned in different areas of the instrument to find a preferred tonal response. It can be used with the supplied PowerTack adhesive for repeated applications or with the included double-sided adhesive disc for a more secure installation.
