121cm Exam Model Upright Piano
MADE IN JAPAN
The ASAHI AU-1 is a refined 121cm upright piano developed with Japanese piano design philosophy, combining dependable engineering with carefully selected European components to deliver balanced tone, reliable performance, and long-term stability.
Designed to support musical development from beginner to intermediate levels, the AU-1 features German FFW hammer felt and Röslau music wire, producing a warm and controlled sound with stable tuning characteristics. Its responsive action provides consistent touch feedback, helping students develop proper finger control and expressive playing.
Standing at 121cm in height, the AU-1 offers an excellent balance between tonal depth and clarity. The cabinet size allows the instrument to produce sufficient resonance and projection while remaining compact enough for modern homes, studios, and teaching environments.
Finished in a classic black high-gloss polish, the AU-1 presents a clean and elegant appearance that complements both contemporary interiors and traditional music rooms. Practical design features such as the soft-close fallboard system and practice mute pedal further enhance everyday usability for students and families.
With its thoughtful construction, European tonal components, and reliable performance, the ASAHI AU-1 provides a dependable upright piano solution for long-term musical growth.
